Abstract Adventive populations of Trissolcus japonicus (Ashmead) have been detected in the eastern and western United States including states Washington, Oregon, California, Utah. These may provide classical biological control for invasive brown marmorated stink bug, Halyomorpha halys (Stål), which can cause economic loss to many specialty crops North America. Idaho has not previously surveyed exotic T. or native parasitoids H. halys. In July 2021, was discovered emerging from wild egg masses Star, (43.69788, −116.49427), on yellow sticky cards September.
